One Nation Under God

There seems to be much doom and gloom among the faithful--and with good reason it would appear. Atheists are climbing the bestseller lists attacking God. A major news magazine recently put on its cover, “The Decline and Fall of Christian America.” Even the president of the United States acknowledged that America is “not a Christian nation.” Speaking of the president, some analysts point out that he is the most pro-abortion president in our nation's history and did we mention that he's tripled, no quadrupled, America's debt--all the while steamrolling us deeper into socialism, and we know how Godless that is.  Read More

Parenting Tips

In Deuteronomy it says I am to have God's precepts on my heart, and “teach them diligently to your sons and talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.”

  Increasing our
  Awareness of
  Issues in our
  Culture
  •  Hollywood's Retro Morality?
  •  Is Hollywood helping to promote traditional values? There are signs…

  •  Finger Pointing
  •  Do the problems we are facing today go beyond this administration or even the previous one? Did it start when we took prayer out of school? Maybe the “fundamental” cause of our current troubles, and hence solution, goes back farther.

  •  Asking the Right Questions
  •  You're in conversation with someone who is “scientific” and considers your use of words like “sin” and “God” to be personal preferences, but not offering any credible solutions. How can you get someone like this to consider your opinions and viewpoints? By questioning the assumptions instead of attacking the conclusions.

  •  A Sin Primer
  •  Is part of the problem today tied to the notion that we can be “good enough.” What if we reduced our sin output by 5% over the past year? Is that possible? How do we think about sin in our lives? Does our sin monitor need recalibrating?
